Apple Working on a Video Recording Stabilization Solution for iOS Devices

According to Patently Apple, a patent surfaced today detailing what it seems to be a way to stabilize video recorded from iOS devices.

The patent describes that the stabilization solution is both with hardware and software. This would greatly improved the quality of video shot with an iPhone, for example.

Currently the resolution from an iPhone is great until you move the device. To solve the problem now, you have to use a case like the Canopy Kapok that allows you to mount an iPhone to a tripod.
