Social dashboard Hootsuite finally updated its iOS app; the last time they did was all the way back in June. But this is a maintenance update since it doesn't add support for the iPhone 5 and it doesn't add support for recent app additions to the dashboard, which includes Google+.
Included in the update:
- Fixed issue with japanese keyboard suggestions overlapping screen when composing message
- Reduced memory usage when working with streams causing crashes
- Updated Facebook authentication screen to allow multiple logins
- Fixed Foursquare not working
- Enhanced Twitter synchronization with HootSuite to avoid authentication issues
- Fixed animation when adding/editing streams
- Updated error messages to be less geeky
- Fixed issue where twitter messages appear geotagged when a user had their profile location set
- Fixed pro users not having full access to push notifications
- Updated issue where user timelines were unavailable on 3G/LTE networks
- Fixed twitter messages having links in the wrong place
- Fixed issue where typing owly:// before a URL in Safari would not properly shorten a link
- Deleting a social network will now delete notifications for that network
- Updated issue where some Instagram images would not load correctly
Hootsuite is free and availble as a universal app (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) in the App Store [iTunes Link].
