GetGlue finally updated its iPhone app that has been abandoned since the company announced a merger with Viggle, which later failed to become reality. The app now supports the iPhone 5, the interface has been redesign and even has clips of shows inside the app's feed. The app's focus has even changed to become more of a TV guide and recommend you shows.
Included in the update:
- A personalized guide for TV, movies and sports
- Get recommendations for the best shows and movies on now
- Check-in and chat with friends and fans while you watch
- Enjoy the best clips, photos and articles for your favorite shows and movies
- Never miss a key premiere, finale or major event that’s important to you
- Unlock stickers and other rewards from your favorite shows
Personally I stop using GetGlue when I got my iPhone 5 as it didn't have support for it. Also the interface was hideous, which prompt me to check-in to content through Path or IMDb.
This update might attract me back to use GetGlue, got to love the stickers. The app is available for free in the App Store [iTunes Link].
