Is been rumored from quite some time that Rupert Murdoch and Steve Jobs are preparing to unveil a newspaper developed for the iPad, rumor to be named The Daily. Now comes news that Richard Branson sponsored magazine called Project is coming to the iPad as early as next week.

UberTwitter Available for iPhone

Guess it is a sign that Blackberry developers are migrating to iOS developers. UberTwitter is now available for the iOS devices for free. Given that they claim they are the number 1 twitter client in the world, they willl have to convince iPhone users what they should try UberTwitter given the fact that Twitter for iPhone, HootSuite, Osfoora and Tweetdeck are have been in the App Store for quite some time.

iWork for iPad Updated

iOS 4.2.1 wasn't the only update for the iPad as Apple updated their iWork apps for the iPad as well to versions 1.3. The three apps that make up iWork for iPad now support multitasking, AirPrint which includes page or slide range selection, setting up the number of copies, and duplex printing. PDF reliability has also improved when exporting from all three apps.

Hootsuite Releases iPad App

Hootsuite is one social tool that I use the most for publishing to Twitter and Facebook. Is just so easy to use and has so many tools at ones disposal that is just great to have it. Today, Hootsuite [iTunes Link] announce their iOS app has gone universal with an iPad version which is entirely free and offers a very appealing UI that looks amazing, resembling a cross between the desktop app and the iPhone app.

Twitter for iPhone Update Brings Push Notifications

I've had said in the past that my favorite Twitter app is the official Twitter app, formerly know as Tweetie. People have tried to convince me to get Osfoora, which I have, but is definitely worthless for me, I prefer Twitter much more and Hootsuite. But now, Twitter for iPhone has raised its value with its latest update of version 3.2.1 which brings Push notfications whenever your mention and when you received messages. You can set it to receive notifications just from our followers or from anybody.

See Twitter Trends on Puerto Rico Via TuitealoPR iPhone App

Twitter is slowly, but gradually been assimilated by people in Puerto Rico. User numbers are increasing as more people get to know the platform. Third-party apps have much to do with this as they give a great number of options to interact on Twitter as opposed to Facebook. There is no way on Twitter to learn the trends showing on Puerto Rico because of the limited number of cities that are available. The only way to do this is to do a trend search entering a topic and see those tweets near you related to it on third-party apps.

With Facebook for iPhone Update You Can Now View and Change Account Settings

Facebook just updated today its iPhone app to version 3.3.2, giving its users the ease of accessing their account settings, privacy settings and Help Center. In the "Home Screen" you will notice a tap area on the top left corner that now says "Account" (Used to say "Logout"). A pop-up window appears from the bottom where you select wether you want to access your Account Settings, Privacy Settings, Help Center or Log out (See images below).
