Salesforce Updates Chatter, Now Universal for iPhone and iPad

Salesforce has updated its business social network app Chatter to make it universal and work seamlessly on the iPhone and iPad. Along with making it universal, the update brings some nifty features.

The new version features:

  • FaceTime support for real-time communication
  • Multi-tasking support (new session picks up where you left off)
  • Lists for Recent Groups and Recent People
  • Ability to attach Salesforce files to posts (in addition to photos from your device)
  • Support for Chatter customers in private groups

Chatter for iOS is available for free in the App Store [iTunes Link].
