Weather Channel for iPad Updated with HD Backgrounds for New iPad, Overall Improvements

Weather Channel has updated its iPad app with improvements to graphics for the 3rd generation iPad, improvements to performance and more.

Changes included in the update:

  • Improved radar maps with a new radar animation controller.
  • Improvements to the app to address crashes on the iPad 1
  • HD backgrounds for the iPad Retina 
  • Added the ability to refresh your data by tapping the "Weather Channel" Logo

The app is free and available in the App Store [iTunes Link].
