DiskAid 6 Released; Now You Can Transfer Files Between Your Mac and iOS Device Through Wi-Fi

DigiDNA has just released the latest version of their popular iOS device file transfer app DiskAid. Version 6 is packed with new features, most notably, DiskAid 6 allows Wi-Fi transfer, in addition to the already existing USB transfer. It also brings multi device support, a new interface, and much more.

It features:

  • Introducing Wi-Fi connectivity - the first of it's kind to allow both USB and Wi-Fi file transfer
  • Bringing multi device support - you can connect all your iOS devices at the same time
  • Allowing simultaneous file transfer - you can copy a music playlist to iTunes while browsing the file system for example
  • New device info view - displays all relevant info about the connected devices even the battery level
  • All new fresh and clean interface - on a totally rewritten software!
  • Adding Photo Stream display - at all times!
  • New Quicklook feature built-in - the space bar or a right click displays a preview of most file types
  • Huge performance improvements - the most reliable DiskAid we ever made
  • Advanced device pairing - including ability to Forget a device / Unpair a device / Change a device's name
  • New PDF export for text and rich messages feature - upon popular request

For now the new version of DiskAid is available for Mac users. Existing DiskAid users will get  a 50% discount on DiskAid 6 license, while those who got DiskAid 5 after October 1, 2012, will get it for free.
