Twitter Client for iPhone Osfoora 2 Brings a New Design and Functionality for iOS 7

Got to admit that Oosfora was my go-to Twitter client when Tweetie got bought by Twitter. Sadly, I stop using it since Tweetbot came out. Today, Osfoora breathes new air on iOS with Osfoora 2, an entirely new Twitter iPhone client that sports a new design for iOS 7, among lots of new features. This app requires iOS 7 and is a separate app from the original one.

Osfoora 2 features:

  • Fully redesigned for iOS 7
  • Streaming support when on WiFi
  • Background Refresh - Fetches your tweets while Osfoora is inactive
  • Local Notifications
  • Send links via SMS within Osfoora
  • Gap detection in timeline and mentions
  • Bookmarking with Safari Reading List, Pocket, and Instapaper
  • Mobilizer support via Google, Instapaper, and Readability
  • Native retweet, and Retweet with Comment
  • Sync your timeline between different clients with Tweet marker
  • Inline image previews
  • Multiple Drafts support, acess drafts via long pressing the compose button
  • Tweet what you're listening to (Music.app only), or choose from your library
  • Upload photos to Twitter, img.ly, Mobypicture, TwitPic, and CloudApp
  • Upload Videos to Mobypicture, TwitPic, and CloudApp
  • Add location to your tweets
  • Mute users and hashtags
  • Multiple account support
  • Pull to Refresh
  • Open links in Safari or Chrome
  • Conversation view. Shows replies too
  • Threaded direct messages
  • Various avatar styles: circle, rounded corners, and square
  • View users on Favstar

Osfoora 2 for iPhone is available for $2.99 in the App Store [iTunes Link].

I'm still a hardcore Tweetbot user on my iPhone, but I know Osfoora's developer Said Marouf is a top notch developer so I will give it a try during the next days.
