iOS 6.1.1 Released for the iPhone 4S to Fix Issues with 3G Performance

Apple released iOS 6.1.1 for the iPhone 4S. The update was released to address issues with 3G performance, issues reported mainly in Europe.

An iOS 6.1.1 beta was released to developeres last week. That beta will be renamed for later released for all iOS devices that support iOS 6.

iPhone 4S users can update OTA (Over the Air) by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The update is small, only 23Mb, so there shouldn't be a problem using cellular data to update. You can also update through iTunes by plugging your iPhone on your computer.

iOS 6.1.1 is compatible with jailbreak tool Evasi0n; the tool will be updated to recognize the new iOS 6 version.
