Apple Releases New Model of the 5th Generation iPod Touch

Without any sort of announcements, Apple released a new iPod Touch today, as evident in their online Apple Store. The new iPod Touch has 16GB of storage, Retina Display and a dual-core A5 chip. This new Touch is more accessible at just $229. This adds to the current 5th generation of iPod Touch with 32GB and 64 GB of storage.
The downside of this new iPod is that it doesn’t have a rear camera (iSight camera), has no wrist strap and only comes in black color. Even though it lose the rear camera, it retained the front-facing camera (FaceTime camera).
The new iPod can be ordered right now at Apple’s website. It should be available at Apple retail stores starting May 31.
