Flipboard for iOS Now Plays Nicely with Animated GIFs

Social magazine app Flipboard updated today to bring support for viewing animated GIFs. The feature, which has been available for Android for some time now, also lets users enjoy GIF-centered magazines.

included in the update:

  • Scan the day's Top Stories, now in News, Tech, Business and Sports sections
  • Enjoy GIFs on Flipboard for iPad and iPhone
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

Flipboard for iOS is available for free as a universal app (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) in the App Store [iTunes Link].
