Just after today's announcements from Dropbox regarding new tools for developers to integrate the service into their apps, Dropbox's owned Mailbox iOS app has received an update. one such tool is the Datastore API which allows apps to sync information through Dropbox (game saves, to-do lists, etc.), regardless of the platform, very easily and straightforward.
But today, the mail iOS app Mailbox has been updated with support for Dropbox attachments. To attach any Dropbox file, look for the paperclip icon next to the camera icon and tap it.
Orchestra, the team behind Mailbox, said that this is teh beginning of several integrations planned, so we are sure to stay tuned.
Mailbox for iOS is available for free as a universal app (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) in the App Store [iTunes Link].
