Apple Sends Invites to September 12 iPhone Event

It has been rumored for quite a while and Apple finally confirms it. The Cupertino company send out invites today regarding an event to be held on September 12 at 10:00 am PT/1:00PM ET at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Even though the invite doesn't state it, it is expected that Apple presents the new iPhone at this event. With this new iPhone, Apple will present the final version of iOS, iOS 6.

The new iPhone is expected to sport a bigger screen, LTE connectivity and some design changes like a new "30-pin dock" connector.
