AT&T iPhone Users with Unlimited Data Should Check Their FaceTime Settings

This past week AT&T announced that FaceTime over cellular data for all AT&T customers will be working by the year's end. Currently users that have Mobile Share plans or individual plans can use FaceTime over cellular, but not those with "grandfathered" unlimited data plans. FaceTime allows you to have a video call between iOS devices and Macs.

Today, iPhone jailbreaker MuscleNerd tweeted that AT&T iPhone users with unlimited data plans should check their FaceTime settings. I have an unlimited data plan so I did and found that my FaceTime setting for cellular data was enabled. Previously it wasn't and enabling it would bring a pop up saying that you should call 611.

If you have an iPhone with an unlimited data plan on AT&T check you settings and let us know if yours too is enabled.
