Tempo Smart Calendar iPhone App Updated with Company Cards, Birthday Gifts, More

Tempo Calendar app for the iPhone got updated today. The update brings a new Company card, as well as birthday gifts, iOS 7 beta support, and more.

Included in the update:

• New Tempo Company Card - With the Company Card, you can discover more about the companies and people you’re meeting with -- in context of your calendar and what’s next. The feature identifies and surfaces your personal network at a company so you can easily identify who you know and find common connections. It also includes the latest company news, company websites, and descriptions, as well as one-touch directions to the company’s office. For easy browsing, there are links to the company’s profile on CrunchBase, Google News, and Yahoo! Finance.
• Birthday Gifts via Yiftee - We partnered with award-winning Yiftee so you can send birthday gifts to your friends. When you connect Facebook to Tempo, your friends’ birthdays appear in your Tempo calendar, so you’re one-tap away from the “send a gift” button. Choose a gift card from companies like 1-800-flowers, Banana Republic, Sephora and T.G.I. Friday’s.
• POP email support - We support POP email accounts, including services such as Comcast, Hotmail, MSN, Outlook.com, SBCglobal and Verizon. Please note that unlike other email accounts, Tempo only searches the inbox of POP emails, and Tempo does not find related documents from POP email.
• iOS 7 Beta support
• Speed: Significant improvements around speed, including quicker onboarding, event creation, and navigation between views and functions.
• Connect four email accounts
• “Today” button change: To get to the current day, tap the date in the header and you’ll be there. 
• Fix - Issues with time zones
• Fix - Time zone picker includes Australia and Arizona
• Fix - Old events in the Notification Center
