Beware: Unofficial iMessage App Comes to Android, Do Not Install
Late last night news swept the internet that iMessage, instant messagin service for iOS and Mac devices, is now available on Android. Android users don't get to happy, this is an unofficial app that has some sketchy purpose.
The app's description from :
iMessage Chat is a free software
iMessage, the popular instant messaging service known from the iPhone, iPad and Macs
is now also available for Android devices!
You can download iMessage Chat for Android for free.
The primary purposes of project are to make everyone should be able to chat via iMessage on Android for free.
There are no hidden costs and no ads in the application.
This project is meant to make you able to chat with your friends that have an iPhone,
while you have the comfort of your own Android device.
Some prominent developers from the iOS development community have expressed concern about this app. Apprarently the app fools iMessage by spoofing the services requests as a Mac mini. The app also downloads APKs on the background and apparently during the process of the information being sent and received to and from Apple the information passes through China.
Needless to say is that you, by no means, should install this unofficial app of iMessage. If you do so, you are exposed to many risks.

A 3rd-party iMessage app was just released on Android; I believe all data sent from/to Apple is resent to/from China for processing: beware.
