Jailbreak an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iOS 6 or Later with Evasi0n; Coming Next Sunday

A new jailbreak tool is in town and all signs point that it will be here on Sunday. A new collective of known iOS jailbreakers have formed with the name of Evad3rs and on their website they have announced that an "untethered" jailbreak for iOS 6 and 6.1 is almost ready.

This is big news in jailbreaking land as an "untethered" jailbreak, a method that doesn't require an iOS device to be connected to a computer every time it boots up, hasn't been available since iOS 6 was released to the public.

According to one known member of this new group Musclenerd, the evasi0n, will likely be available next Sunday, the same day of the Super Bowl. Latest and major jailbreak releases have taken place on a Sunday and it became known a Funday.

The most important details about the new jailbreak tool are:

• It will  take 5 minutes of your time!
• You need a computer, running Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.5 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64)
• An iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1 (you may check in Settings / General / About => Version)
• A USB cable to connect the device to the computer

Now we all wait and see if the Evad3rs team delivers on Sunday. Personally, I'm not a big jailbreak fan and probably won't be jailbreaking my iPhone 5, but I know lots of you would sure want to.
