Seems Like AT&T is Kicking 4G LTE Speeds Up a Notch in Puerto Rico

I lived in the southern area of the island of Puerto Rico and since the iPhone 5 came out on September of last year I'm constantly testing speeds of AT&T's 4G LTE network. I do this in order to see if there are any improvements, or worse, if the network fails to work as advertised. I do the same with various other companies' networks, but since my primary phone runs on AT&T's, I find myself testing its network more.

T-mobile Releases Carrier Update to Enable LTE, Visual Voice Mail on Unlocked iPhone 5s

T-mobile released a carrier update today to enable LTE on the iPhone 5. Those with an unlocked iPhone 5 running on T-mobile's network or an unlocked AT&T iPhone 5 can now use LTE after this update, wherever it is available.

FaceTime Over Cellular Slowly Rolling Out to AT&T Customers

AT&T announced a couple of weeks ago that it was having a change of heart and it would start allowing all their customers of LTE iOS devices (iPhone 5, iPad LTE) to use FaceTime over their cellular network. At the beginning, AT&T expressed that this iOS 6 feature would be allowed only if AT&T customers had a Mobile Share data plan.

If You Have an iPhone 5 or LTE iPad on AT&T, You Can Now Use FaceTime Over the Cellular Network

AT&T just announced that iPhone 5 and LTE iPad users on their networks can now use the video call feature FaceTime over the cellular network at no extra cost. Previously, only those enrolled on a Mobile Share plan could make use if the FaceTime over cellular.
